The January 2011 project of the George Rogers Clark Society C.A.R. was collecting food on Super Bowl Sunday for needy people. They created a display and fliers. The members distributed the fliers and collected the food on the Sunday of the Super Bowl, January 28, 2011. In conjunction with the Anderson Congregational Church of Metropolis, Ilinois, the George Rogers Clark Society C.A.R. distributed the collected food to a local food pantry.
