I am looking for information about my Gr. Gr. Grandmother, Harriet Kimball, born in Russell County, I believe. She married William Cochran on June 10, 1871 in Casey County, KY. She was b. August 11, 1852 and died May 5, 1941 in Casey Cty., KY. Does anyone have any information about her parents or her? Her children with William were: Joe, Nancy, William Oscar, Sarah (Sallie) Kate, Stephen, Angie, John and George.

I am trying to find information on PLEASANT R CUNDIFF who married SUSAN STATON in Russell co Ky. Feb 12, 1835, She was the daughter of JOHN STATON and MARY(POLLY) LAWLESS. SUSAN and PLEASANT was my gr gr grandparents. I found SUSAN and her children in the house hold of WILLIAM LAWLESS and SARAH LAWLESS, I think this was her uncle and grandmother. Looking for CARTERS in Rusell County. George Washington born 1807, mother Elizabeth. Father Thomas I. Killed in War of1812. He had six brothers and sisters. Who might they be? He married Mary Ann "Polly" Rabern and had twelve children. I believe that Martin B., and John Henry were born in Russell County. The family later moved to Adair County. Martin was born in 1833 and John Henry in 1835.

Seeking ANY information on George Wilkerson and his wife, Tyracy (She was an Allen )Wilkerson. The 1880 Census gives George's age as 55 b. England; Tyracy- age 35 b. TN. The 1870 census lists George as 35, b.KY and Taresa 29, b. TN. I was told their graves were relocated when the Cumberland Lake (?) was created. Does anyone know when they died and where their remains were relocated? Would love to correspond with any of the desendants of George and Tyrecy still in the Russell County area. George and Tresa are listed with these children: William H. Hannah E., George W., Thomas W., John Alford (who died in AR) Ida, Angelee, Fanny and Benjamin. John Alford's son George Paul Wilkerson was born in Louisville in 1899 and died in Ellis Co., TX in 1971.
