year has been assigned or is available for a transcription. Census
years 1790 - 1820 were before Russell County was formed and are not
included. Please consider becoming a volunteer to be a census
transcriber for the years 1900 or 1910.
If a red "P"
is next to a census year, a proofreader has been assigned. Please
consider becoming a volunteer to be a census proofreader for the
completed transcriptions in the years of 1830, 1840, or 1860. A census
proofreader is needed for 1920 transcription which is 50% complete, as
well as the other assigned census years: 1870, 1880, 1890, or 1930. The
Mortality Schedules for 1850, 1860 & 1870 have been completed and
also need to be proofread.
If
