Nicholas Humble Wed Dec 03 13:11:50 1997 My g-g-g-g-grandmother, Rebecca CROSS PARMLEY, the wife of JOHN PARMLEY died in Russell County, about 1830-32. They probably lived very close to the Wayne County line. I have been unable to find a record of her death or where she may be buried. Would be grateful for any help.

Francis C. Gill Sun Dec 21 09:25:17 1997 NELSON/CRAVEN/DUNBAR/ABSHER/MCGOWAN/CAIN/DECKER--I am currently researching the family of William NELSON b. 1761 in Fauquier Co., Va. and Sarah CRAVEN. This couple, and many of their children, lived and died in Russell County, Ky. Some of their children were: Wade NELSON md. Mary DUNBAR; Elizabeth NELSON md. William DUNBAR; Joseph NELSON md. Elizabeth DECKER; Rachel NELSON md. George W. DECKER; Sarah Nelson md. James MEADOWS; Matilda NELSON md. Samuel SCOTT. The ABSHER, MCGOWAN, CAIN, FLANAGAN, HUGHES, LAPSLEY, JEFFRIES, and many other families intermarried with the descendants of this couple. I am seeking to exchange information on all of these families. I have further information on the ancestry of William NELSON which I am willing to share.
