I am seeking any information on my great grandfather, John Clifton THOMSON, born approx. 1831, in Hopkinsville, KY. He married Elizabeth Jane Coffey approx. 1854. She was also born in KY approx. 1834, possibly in Christian County. They had one son, born in KY, James M. THOMSON, b. approx. 1855. By 1857, they had moved to IL. Their daughter, Elizabeth Katherine EAD was born thier approx. 1857. The 1860 U.S. Census, shows them living in Washington Co., Nashville, IL. My grandfather, George Samuel THOMSON, was born in Nashville, IL on Feb. 11, 1891. Their last child, Walter THOMSON, was born approx. 1870, also in Nashville, IL. I am curious to know if there is any relationship to James THOMSON, shown in the list of Christian Co., KY Marriages of 1829, as marrying Elizabeth Quisenberry on Dec. 3, 1829. I am interested in finding out if Elizabeth Jane COFFEY is related to Joseph COFFEY,SR. of Christian Co., KY. (The following information comes from a query by Mr. Kirk Smith on July 2, 1996) "Joseph COFFEY SR. was born in 1784, m. Jane GRAVES on 29, Sep., 1808, in Cumberland Co., KY. She was the daughter of Thomas GRAVES and Mary CHILTON. Joseph moved to Christian Co. in 1831 and died there in 1834. They had 12 children: James Madison COFFEY m. Catherine QUISENBERRY; Elzey COFFEY m. Margaret BURT; Robert T. COFFEY m. Elizabeth GILCHRIST; Nancy COFFEY m. ALDEN; Asa COFFEY m. Sydney HARRISON; Juliza COFFEY m. Isaac BOYD; Lucy Pettus COFFEY m. Robert DULIN; Barilla COFFEY; Benjamin COFFEY; Joseph COFFEY, Jr.; and two others unknown." Could Elizabeth Jane COFFEY be one of these "unknown" children? An interesting link is the fact that in the 1860 Census of Nashville, IL, residing close to John Clifton THOMSON and wife Elizabeth Jane COFFEE, is A. L. COFFEE with wife Sydney A. (both born in KY) along with children and a Margret HARRISON, age 60 (possibly Sydney's mother)! Also shown in the same census is E. C. COFFEE with wife M. A. and children.

I am trying to locate any information about my mother and her family. She was born supposely in Dec. 1917 by the name of Montra Bea Wilson. On a marriage license it says her name is Delma Pulliam. It says she lived in Russell Co. The other name we have came up with are Stargel, Skaggs,Scaggs and Perry. The later part of her life she lived in Louisville. Any help please.
