She was born in Russell County, KY in abt 1844, married first a Hardin, then to Robert Elmore, born abt 1840, d. abt 1865. They were married April 10, 1860 by William Carnes. They had one son William Elmore (md. Mary Belle Mann). After Robert died in 1865, Fanny then married John Mann, (her son's father-in-law, Mary Belle's father).
