My grandfather's name is Henry Clay Eades (1893-1975) He served in WWI, and his grave marker from the Army lists him as a Sgt. - but I'm sure he went in as a private. I'm not sure which division he was in, but the picture was taken in Louisville.

He may have been born in Montpelier Ky but he was raised in Russell Springs. His mother was Leora F McElroy (daughter of Henry Clay McElroy and granddaughter of Francis McElroy).

His father was Sheridan Eads of Pulaski County - also know as Sherrod or Sherman. He was the son of William Eads and the Grandson of Asahel Eads.
