Wolfe County News - March 27, 1957

Arberry Gibbs, age 83 died at his home on Trace Fork, near Campton, at 
9:03 a.m. on Saturday morning, March 23.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Gibbs; and five sons, Richard, 
Springfield, Ohio, Hobert, Dayton, Ohio; Kelson, Dayton, Ohio; Clayton, 
Middletown, Ohio, and Younger Gibbs, Campton; also one daughter, Mrs. 
James Tester, Dayton, Ohio; one brother, John Gibbs and a sister, Mrs. 
Carrie Anderson, Cincinnati, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 11 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the residence on Monday afternoon at 
2:00 p.m. with arrangments in charge of B.F. Porter and Son Funeral 
Home.  Rev. Lump Osborne officiated at the services and burial was in the 
Murphy Cemetery on Stillwater.
