Death occurred at the home of his son, Barney Booth, where he had been cared for sometime prior to his death. Mr. Boothe was born October 7, 1855 in Wolfe county, a son of the William and Elizabeth Boothe. He was a retired farmer and postmaster. He was married in 1884 to Ellen Bailey and five sons survive. They are: Barney of Booth, James of Dayton, O., Roby of Winchester, Charlie of Booth and Minter of Winchester. A brother, John Booth of Torrent, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Spencer of Troy, Idaho and Mrs. Emma Creech of Campton, also survive. Funeral services were conducted on March 14, at 2:30 p.m. at Booth, by the Rev.
