MR. VANDERPOOL DIES MAY 27
 
Buck Vanderpool, 75, died suddenly Sat. May 27 of an apparent heart
attack.  He was a farmer and member of the first Church of God.
 
Survivors are four sons, Dayton Vanderpool of Franklin, Ohio, Pearl and
Albert Vanderpool, both of Campton and Paul Vanderpool with the U.S.
Army in Germany; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Brewer of Ohio, Mrs.
Golden Wireman of Mt. Sterling and Neil Vanderpool of Detroit, 
Michigan;five half-sisters and one half-brother.
 
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 30 at the Shackelford
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Thomas officiating.  Burial was in
the Evans Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
