Obituary: King, Steven Hayward - Wednesday, April 23, 1975 Wolfe County News - May 9, 1975 Submitted by: Carole Bays ********************************************************************** STEVEN KING HEART ATTACK VICTIM APRIL 23 Steven Hayward King, 74, of Campton died on Wednesday, April 23 at Maddox Clinic after suffering a heart attack. Mr. King was a native of Wolfe County and attended the Assembly of God Church. Survivors are his wife, Lucy Thomas King of Campton; four sons, John King of Dayton, Ohio, Vernon King of Bonnie Terrie, Maryland, Marvin King of Ortonville, Michigan and Kennith King of Boston, Mass. Five daughters, Mrs. Charlene Bigelow of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Irene Maloney of Novi, Mich., Mrs. Jewell Bole of Newport, Ky., Mrs. Judith Evans of Jacksonville, Texas and Mrs. Sharon Clemmons of Manhatton, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Childers of Dayton, Ohio and Mrs. Julia Smith of Campton and 21 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 25 at the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Dehner and Rev. Willard Gilbert officiating.
