Mrs. Mattie Gentry, 80, of Zoe, died at the home of her son in
Middletown, Ohio on April 2, after a lengthy illness.
 
Mrs. Gentry was born in Owsley County and was a member of the Church of
God.
 
Survivors are four sons, Zola Gentry and Goble Gentry both of
Middletown, Ohio.  Brack Gentry of Lisbon, Ohio and Walter Gentry of
Zoe, KY; three daughters, Naomi Thomas and Helen Varney both of
Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Lakes of McKee, twenty-six grandchildren and
thirty-one great grandchildren, one brother and four sisters.
 
Burial in the Gentry Cemetery at Zoe, Ky with Shackelford Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
