WOLFE COUNTY NEWS - JUNE 25, 1952

MOTHER DIES AT BIRTH OF NINTH CHILD, JULY 15TH

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Faulkner were conducted at Trent, on 
Monday, June 16th by Rev. Trent.  Burial followed in the Howard cemetery 
in Wolfe county.

Mrs. Faulkner was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. all of  
Helechawa.  Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, four 
daughters, five sons and 10 step-children.  Mrs. Faulkner died shortly after 
giving birth to a baby daughter at their home near Natural Bridge.  She 
was alone when the baby was born as her husband Howard Faulkner had gone 
to the William Spencer home to summons a doctor for her.

The baby lived and was reported in good condition.

Note: Who were the parents of Mary Faulkner?  Does anyone know?  The 
surname was missing in the above obit.
