CAMPTON -- Ruth Fletcher, 88, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of  Wolfe 
County, widow of William B. Fletcher, died yesterday in  Bradenton 
after a long illness. Services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lower Laurel  
Baptist Church, Trent. No visitation. Porter & Son Funeral Home in 
charge of  arrangements.

Ruth Fletcher, 88, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Wolfe County died
Aug. 13, 1988, in Leesburg Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida.  Mrs.
Fletcher was a homemaker, a member of the Wahoo Church, Wahoo, Florida,
and the widow of the late William B. Fletcher.  She was a d/o the late
George and Elizabeth Trent Handy.
 
Survivors are one son, James Everett Fletcher of Dallas, Texas, one
daughter, Ruby G. Wright of Bushnell, Florida; one brother, Courtney
Handy of Bradenton, Florida; three sisters, Lori Prater of Ypsilanti,
Michigan, Edna Sparks of Middletown, Ohio and Golden Stamper; fifteen
grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great great
grandchildren.
 
Burial in the Edwards Cemetery at Trent with Porter and Son Funeral 
Home of Campton in charge of arrangements.
