VEST,age 68 of Trenton, died Sunday, June 19, 2005 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1937 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the son of Charles Scott Vest, Sr. and Ruth (Davidson) Vest. Mr. Vest was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked at Armco Steel, retiring in 1998 after 43 years of service. Mr. Vest was a member of the Moose Lodge #501, D.A.V., V.F.W. and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn S. (Wagoner) Vest; a daughter, Katherine Ann (husband, Todd) Imbler of University Heights, Ohio; a son, Christopher William (wife, Laura) Vest of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, Alex, Connor, Camille, and Delaney; his mother, Ruth Vest of Oxford; and a sister, Ruth Ann Vest of Oxford. He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Harry and Charlie. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with the Reverend Glenn Martin officiating. Visitation will be 5-7:00 pm, Tuesday and 1-2:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery with military honors at the gravesite by the American Legion Post 218 Color Guard.
