WALKER posted by Marilyn Brown on Saturday, September 21, 1996

Seeking information on Travis Walker who married Elizabeth (Betsey) prior to 1810 in Woodford County, Ky. I have found marriage records on three Travis Walkers (presumed to be related) who were married about the same time. This Travis, with Betsey and two sisters (one named Elizabeth) moved to Harrison County VA. Because there are three Travis Walkers of the same generation, it is believed that they are members of a large family group who settled in Woodford. I would love to make contact with anyone who is researching this line. Thanks!

John volunteered in 1794 in Franklin County under Captain Anthony Bartlett to join Wayne's Army against the Northern Indians. They were mustered at Georgetown in Major Prices Battalion. He was injured on August 20 1794. He was married to Mary Thomas b:1779 and their first son was born April 30, 1796. About 1804 John and family moved to Henderson Co. and then on to Hopkins Co. I am looking for any information that will add to the above. Marriage date for Samuel and John, dod for Samuel, other children in either family and dob for all.
