Looking for information on HARPERS. Elijah was born 1809. Who did he marry? Was his wife Margaret born in 1826? If so what was her maiden name? Was she a HARPER marrying a HARPER? Margaret is my ggmother and I have been trying to find her. Apparently she was widowed by first husband> Some info indicates it was ELIJAH. If so when did he die? Did they have children together? She married Patrick RIORDAN in 1854 and went to live in HART County. Any info would be appreciated. If Margaret's name is other than HARPER I would like some background information on her> Thanks Elijah is listed in Woodford County in Morman IGI. Who was his family before marriage?

Their son THOMAS married about 1805/6, I would be interested in contacting anyone researching this family. I am trying to find the connection between the GASS/GUESS name and any variations. I have information that David GASS' son John GASS settled Bourbon Co. KY. I also show that Nancy GUESS, dau. of John GUESS and Sarah BEALL LUCAS, married John WHITAKER in Woodford Co. KY Oct. 11, 1809. WHITAKER had previosly been married to Martha WILCOXSEN (various spellings) who died in 1798. John and Martha were members of the Clear Creek Church. Any information on the above would be appreciated. Am also glad to share what I do have.
