Looking for information on John W. Craig, who appears in 1830 census index for Woodford County. Had sons William and Frederick and one daughter, name unknown. A William Craig also shows up in the census index. I'm waiting for the actual census records at this time. Trying to determine, for John and William, wife's names, where John was before 1830, names of other children of John, and identity of his parents. I believe the middle initial stands for "Wesley" or "Westley". It appears that they may both have moved to Anderson County shortly after the census and owned/acquired land there along Gilbert Creek. Land records from Anderson County establish that William's son, Lindsey Craig, inherited some of this land. We have a fairly complete record from Lindsey to my father, David T. Craig, son of David Edward (Ed) Craig, grandson of David Henry Craig and great-grandson of Lindsey.

I'm looking for the children of Ezekiel Jenkins who died in Woodford Co, KY in 1815. He lived next door in Jessamine Co. from before 1799 to at least 1810. I was hoping he might mention in his will his children's names. In particular, I hope to determine if he was father to an Elijah. Thanks.

I'm looking anxiously for any information about my great-grandparents, Lorenzo Dow Montgomery b. ca. 1820 possibly in Fayette CO, KY and his wife Mary Guyn/Quinn who were married 13 Jan 1843 in Woodford CO, KY. I believe her father to be Gabriel Guyn, brother to Garrett Guynn. I have no possibility for the father of Lorenzo Dow Montgomery, but believe he may have been a 'William' based on the fact that their first child was named William Gabriel Montgomery. Not much to go on! All help with either name would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

THOMAS LEE, Sr., my third-great grandfather, was born in KY. ca. 1790. As a young man he migrated to southwest MS where he is found in Jefferson Co. in the census of 1810. He married MILLY GENNETTE BAREFOOT (BAIRFOOT, BARFOOT) before 1810 possibly before he moved to Jefferson Co. According to census records, she was born in MS. It is possible that he was THOMAS B. (BELL) LEE,the son of MAJOR JOHN LEE and ELIZABETH BELL LEE of Woodford Co., KY, who settled in Woodford Co. after the Revolutionary War. Both of them were born in VA where they were married. Are there descendants of MAJOR JOHN LEE and ELIZABETH LEE living in Woodford Co. area of KY? I would very much like to complete the ancestral line of my THOMAS LEE, Sr.

WILLIAMS I am seeking information on a Williams family that lived in Woodford Co., Ky prior to 1832. They had moved to Pulaski Co., Ar by 1832. I do not know the father's or mother's name. I know the first three children were born in Woodford Co. Lucy, Mary and Lowis Paul. I think the parents probably married there. Probably married about 1820-1822. Any help greatly appreciated.
