CARR posted by Melvin E. Hurst on Saturday, October 4, 1997

Would like information on the CARR family of Fayette Co., Ky. I have info on the CARRs of Woodford\Mercer Co., but can't connect the two families. Charles Carr (1774 Va-1868 Fayette Co) married to Elizabeth Todd d/o Levi Todd. He was one of the first CARRs of this line in Fayette. His parents were Walter & Elizabeth Chiles Carr. How were they connected to Richard Carr, born ca 1750/60, that was on the Kentucky River at Oregon, Mercer Co.?? His son William married Anna Cox of Woodford Co. All of these Carrs came from Virginia. How were they related?? Melvin Hurst crhurs01@uky.campus.mci.net

THOMAS posted by Leslie Ferguson on Friday, October 17, 1997

I posted a query earlier this month and have since learned that Sally RUCKER married John TANNER in Woodford Co. KY in 1792. John TANNER died in 1812 and Sally TANNER went on to marry: 1st-James Rutter for abt one years' duration. 2nd- Zadock THOMAS in 1815. They had a daughter named Malinda THOMAS. I am interested in learning what became of Sally THOMAS after this. I have limited information that says she died after 1829 (between 1840 and 1850) in Trigg Co. KY. Would greatly appreciate any and all information, help and or advice. Thank you.
