Milton Gray married Betsey Mott on 1 May 1818 in Woodford County, KY. I am looking for a connection to James Gray born in KY on 19 May 1820. James Gray's parents are said to have died when he was 17 years old and it is said he had three younger siblings, two sisters and a brother. James Gray subsequently moved to IL and died in Alton, Illinois in 1880. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Would like all info I can find on the Searcy family and Reardon family who were married into the Searcy line. Both families came into kentucky from Granville county N.C. and Henry Reardon migrated into N.C. from Fairfax county Va. My Thompson side came in to Woodford county from Mason county. Benjamin F. Thompson from Mason county married Annie Davis Martin in the 1850s. She was from the Midway Davis family. They and all of their children died in Woodford county. Have info to share on all of these people. Ben F. Thompson was the gr. grandson of James Thompson, deputy surveyor of Kentucky county Va. and first head surveyor of Lincoln county Va. They were all relatives of Elijah Pepper and John Obannon who made Old Crow and Oscar Pepper whiskey on Glens Creek in Woodford

BELINDA, Zachariah Ford born 11 Nov 1801, son of Absalom Ford and Mary "Molly" Ransdall married 11 Feb 1792 in Orange Co., VA. Absalom & Mary had 13 children. I show a possible 1st marriage for Zachariah to Cyntha Stone 25 Sep 1824 and am hoping they were the parents of Martin Ford born 02 Jan 1828 in Woodford Co. They may also have had a son William born about 1825. I do have a copy of Absalom Ford's Will of 1840. My connection to your family would be if Martin and William are in fact the children of Zachariah & Cyntha. I feel there is a connection because one of Zachariah's daughters was named "Sinthia"

I am researching Benjamin Branham (my 2X great grandfather) who married Sarah (Sally) Stanford/Standford in Woodford County in 1824. Sally was the daughterof James and Polly Stanford/Standford. Benjamin reported in all census reports he was born 1804 VA. Sally was born 1806 Woodford County. I believe my Benjamin may have been related to Benjamin Branham who married Nelly Miller in Woodford County, KY in abt 1796. Would like information on this couple! Both died in Postosi, Grant County, WI (Ben in 1878 and Sally in 1877) and buried there in Van Buren Cemetery. I have information on my Branham - Stanford line starting in 1824 and need any information anyone may have to share. Any data I have will be gladly shared on request. Thank you for your time and any help you may be able to provide.
