I am searching for information on the DUNLAP family that helped settle both Augusta Co. VA and Woodford Co.KY Alexander DUNLAP b. 1717 m/ Ann McFARLAND. His children came to KY and settled in Woodford Co. We have gone under the assumption that Elizabeth DUNLAP m/ William WARWICK was the child of the above DUNLAP. New information puts doubt on that theory. Would anyone have a list of the sibblings and parents of the above Alexander DUNLAP? Any Help is appreciated.

William Jenkins married Sarah, had children Harriet b: 1840, Eliza b: 1846 and William b: 1851 in Wofford Co, KY. Sarah was b: 1822 and William b: 1820. They would have been married about 1839/40..

DALE, Rueben I have a Rueben DALE, born 1840-45, living in McCracken Co. by late 1860s. Because of his name, I am assuming he is a member of the extensive DALE family that came to Woodford Co in the 1780s, including George, Isaac, Abraham, Wiliam and Robert. "My" Rueben Dale was married to Porter Elizabeth Greewood (or maybe Elizabeth Porter) and had one son, Shelby Lovell, b. 1867, and two daughters, Mattie and Hallie. I have not been able to find an "unaccounted for" Rueben Dale in the Barren Co. branches, so hope a Woodford DALE researcher can give me some suggestions about his parentage. Since all of the Dales named sons and grandsons Rueben (their father's name), it is very difficult to identify this one! Any suggesions? Karen Dale KDale60909@aol.com

George Eaton, Jr came from Rowan County, North Carolina to Woodford County, Kentucky in the 1790's (possibly late 1780's). He later moved to Posey County, Indiana. One of his brothers, James Eaton stayed in Kentucky and died there in 1840. George Eaton Jr. had the following children: John, Thomas, Stephen, Morgan, Isaac, Benjamin, James, and William. I believe George Eaton Jr.'s wife was an Elizabeth (last name unknown). Would like to hear from anyone researching this line..

I am searching for any information on Henry HOWARD born in Woodford Co. KY, abt 1833 who marries Francis (Frankie) VAUGHN born in Woodford Co. KY, 17 Aug 1845. Henry Howard dies 25 May 1880 and Francis Vaughn dies 10 May 1908. They have the following known children in Bourbon Co., KY, Jace abt 1876, John D. (my line), Kate, and Mary B. Unfortunately I do not have a email address right now. I am a descendant of both Edward and Elizabeth Trabue. Right now my mother is doing a lot of work on tracking the history of our family so she could be very helpful to you. When I get an email address I will send it to you. What I can tell you is that there is a long history of the Trabue family in Bourbon County Ky. There are unmapped graves of the Trabue family and often their spouses. There are several books that my parents own that might be helpful to you. "Colonial Men and Times", "The Trabue Family in America".

Wilson who owned a dry goods store with Smith Hansford abt 1868.
