Their children: Permilia b. 1804, m. Waller Lewis Brightwell, George m. Lucy ______,Frederick, Jr., William J., m. Mahala Stucker, Abraham, Samuel G., Joanna B., Margaret F., John and Michael. Rather desperately seeking a way to "prove" information on the marriage of Capt. Archibald MORRISON (1771-1829)(War of 1812 hero from Woodford Co., KY) to Lucy (Fox) SULLIVAN (1788-c1860), widow, reportedly m. in Woodford Co., KY about 4 Sep 1815. He was a son of Capt./Col. John MORRISON (c1740-1814)& "Molly" CAMPBELL (c1750-1825), reportedly the first white woman in Lexington, KY. She was reportedly a dau. of Capt. Richard "Dick" FOX who apparently was involved in the formation of Versailles. Would appreciate any clues or assistance. Happy to exchange information.

I am not certain that there is a connection, but Sarah WARD, born in Va on 29 May 1769, married Thomas Scott in Jessamine County, Ky on 3 Sept 1800. Sarah WARD's mother was Margaret WARD. Her mother Margaret gave consent for the marriage and a James WARD, posted the bond for the marriage. I suspect that James was Sarah's brother. The 1787 Fayette Co Tax list had Margaret, Isaac, Benjamin and John WARD listed as tax payers. 1792 had Widow WARD, John, Joseph, George and William listed. 1796 included Margaret and John WARD. There was a James WARD listed in the 1799 Jessamine Co Tax Lists. Thomas SCOTT children from both of his marriages married brothers and sisters of my THOMPSON and SHIVELL ancestors.
