BUCKLEY, WEBB posted by Mike Buckley on Friday, December 4, 1998: Interested in any information on the name Buckley or Webb connected with Woodford County. My ggggrandfather was William Buckley. He married Polly Webb in 1800 in Woodford County. Other Buckley names in the area at that time were Jeremiah and Samuel. Don't know the connection. Polly's father was Aaron Webb. Don't know anything about him. William Buckley was a preacher in a church in Woodford County from 1805-1813. Jeremiah owned Buckley's ferry on the Kentucky River in 1802-3. He divested himself of the land between 1792 and his death in 1808. Can someone tell me where and how to look to find what happened to it.
