The oldest information I have on my DALEY family is Benjamin DALEY born in Ireland. He and his brother Dave worked their way to America together on a cattle boat. Benjamin was a blacksmith and horse doctor. Benjamin married a woman named Sarah Ann ANNIS/Ennis who was also from Ireland. He died in Woodford County, Kentucky. Their children were John Benjamin DALEY b July 26, 1853 d Feb 28, 1935, Josie DALEY b 1860, and Margaret DALEY b 1874. John Benjamin married Emily Jane COTTEY (b April 10, 1866 d Aug 5, 1944) on Sept 30, 1885. Their children were Benjamin Marcus DALEY b April 17, 1886 d Jan 14, 1964, Josia Ennis DALEY b March 14, 1888 d Jan 1, 1970, Annie Marie DALEY b Nov 15, 1889 d April 20, 1893, Joseph DALEY b 1890, Irene Ella DALEY b Nov 2, 1891 d Nov 24, 1968, Cora Mae DALEY b July 7, 1894 d Nov 15, 1975, Alva Edgar DALEY b July 9, 1896, Florence E DALEY b Dec 27, 1897, Sarah Lizzie DALEY b March 20, 1900, Theodore DALEY b August 7, 1902 d Nov 1, 1988, William! Grant DALEY b July 31, 1905, and John David DALEY b March 1, 1908. They were farmers in Bracken County, Kentucky (mostly of tobacco). My grandfather Theodore DALEY married Margaret Ida Catherine MONTER from Cincinnati, Ohio(whose mother gave her five middle names but no one agrees on what they all were) in 1935. Margaret was born April 27, 1914 to Charles Joseph MONTER and Catherine Elizabeth REUHL, Margaret died in 1944..

Boswell Hansford HERNDON married Mary Catherine (Polly) HUNTER on 9/26/1812 in Franklin Co., KY. What were the circumstances of their lives after the birth, in Scott Co., KY, of their four children, Hohn Hunter, 7/8/1813, Robert Scott, 1815, Frederick, c. 1817 and Mary, c. 1819? When and were did they die and where are they burried. Their first two sons went to TX in the 1830s.

I recently discovered that William Buford BEARD died Dec. 24, 1935 in WOODFORD COUNTY! He was married to Mary Catherine MARSHALL. I located both gravesites in Grant Co. I am looking for someone who might descend from early Ellises in Woodford County. My line came to Woodford from Frederick Co., MD in 1792. They are on the census list for that year. I am researching Thomas B. Lee, son of Major John Lee and Elizabeth Bell. He is reported as an heir in the settlement of his father's estate in 1802. Thomas B. is believed to have been born circa 1788-92. Would very much like to correspond with anyone who might possibly have a connection with this family of LEES. John Hancock Lee was a brother to Thomas B. Lee and Hancock is believed to have been the father of Major John Lee. Major John Lee was one of the prominent settlers of Versailles, KY. Thanks Billy G. In 1805, Lewis Utterback married Frances Berry, born in 1787, daughter of Captain Benjamin Berry and his wife Mary Allen. Frances Berry was born Dec 15, 1787 and died Feb 2, 1859.
