Looking for any information James Fitzpatrick b.May 27,1815 (Place unknown) d.June18,1866 Decatur,Illinois Was married to Sarah J. b.November 16.1828 (Place unknown) d. December27,1909 Decatur,Illinois James and Sarah moved from Woodford County Ky. in 1857 to Decatur ,Illinois. They had a son Martin W. Fitzpatrick b.Feb 1,1845 ((Woodford County Ky ?? )) d.1914. Decatur,Illinois I have no idea what town they came from or how long they were in Ky. I'm new at this and hope this message finds a kind person who can help. Thanks Michael.

LEE Hello, I am descended from John Lee and Letitia Atwell who owned land, I have been told, near the Culpeper Courthouse. They married in 1770 and she died in childbirth in 1775. John went to War. became Major John Lee and remarried around 1780, Elizabeth Bell. They moved to Orange County VA, then to Woodford KY. So, I think he may have sold his land before they moved to Orange Co. Letitia Atwell was born in 1743. I know very little about her or her family. Her father may have been named John. John Lee (b. 1743) is the son of Mary Willis Hancock Lee, descendant of Richard Lee. Willis Atwell Lee, son of Letitia and John Lee, is my ancestor. I would love to find his birth certificate, or some other document regarding him or his family. In mid July I am travelling to Culpeper to research this branch of the family. I am searching for the name and probable location of a hotel in your area back in 1936. It was on the river near Versailles. My dad said that he remembers his parents telling him that he was born in Versailles and that they lived in a caretakers cottage of a hotel on the river near Versailles.
