DREHER, JR., Lee Andrew A resident of Wilson and a retired crew foreman for the Louisiana Department of Highways for 30 years, he died at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at his son's home in Centreville, MS. He was 92, born on Aug. 19, 1913, in Wilson. He served with honors in the U.S. Army during World War II. Visiting at Wilson Baptist Church, Wilson, on Monday, April 24, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Darwin Hall and the Rev. Alvin Hall. Interment in Eastern Star Cemetery, Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Faye Doris Friday Dreher; two daughters, Helen Gail Nichols and Janice Lynette Caston; a son, Lawrence Lowrey Dreher; two sisters, Gloria Lynette Anding and Ruth Kathleen "Patsy" Anding; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Andrew, Sr. and Lillian May Cox Dreher; a sister, Helen May Iverson; and two brothers, Wilton Allen Dreher and Donald Alvin Dreher. Pallbearers will be Karl Dreher, Bill Dreher, Wilton Dreher, Jon Dreher, Richie Caston and Earl Ravencraft. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Iverson, David Iverson and Jim Anding. He was a member and founding deacon of Wilson Baptist Church. He loved the town of Wilson and all the people there. His greatest pleasure was hunting birds and hunting and fishing on the Comite River. God Bless his soul and may he rest in peace. Newman Funeral Home, Centreville, is in charge of arrangements.
