SCHILLING, JERRY A native of Mt. Hermon and a resident of Jackson, he died at 12:40 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a retired maintenance worker for East Louisiana State Hospital and a door greeter at Walmart in Zachary. Visiting at Apostolic Tabernacle Church, Jackson, on Saturday, April 29, from 8: a.m. until religious service at 3 p.m., officiated by Rev. Eldridge Anselmo. Interment in Second Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Catherine "Cathy" Cutrer and Amy L. and Kelly Quinlan, all of Jackson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwight and Nell Patterson Schilling, Jackson, and Jimmy and Wesley Statham Schilling. Mt. Hermon; and grandchildren, Cody and Tyler Cutrer. both of Jackson. Preceded in death by his parents, Delos and Elma Painter Schilling, his wife of 36 years, Dianne Neal Schilling, sisters Hilda Foster and Betty Kerbow, and a brother, Rayford Schilling. Pallbearers will be O.D. "Preacher" Williams, Tony Schilling, Bobby Bennett, Keith Schilling, John McCrory and Dwight Schilling. Honorary pallbearers are Edward Scott, William Worley, Jr., and grandsons, Cody and Tyler Cutrer. Memorial donations may be made in the form of payment toward funeral expenses.
