Florence Randolph (Nee Young), 95, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at King Manor Care Center in Neptune, NJ. She was born on January 24, 1917 in Tallulah, LA to John (Jack) Carter and Louvenia Young.

She resided in Brielle, NJ for many years prior to moving to Neptune. She was a private duty nurse by profession and active in the local women's and bridge clubs. Mrs. Randolph was ever present in the lives of her daughter and granddaughters, offering guidance and many, many words of praise and encouragement.

Florence Randolph was predeceased by her husband, Roosevelt; daughter, Rita Perry; son-in- law, Melvin Perry; siblings, Artee Jackson, Hazel Munroe, Evelyn Reynolds, Roosevelt Young and Crayton Young.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Rita Randolph Perry, Philadelphia, PA, and Susan Randolph Perry-Slay and her husband, Jesse Slay; great granddaughters, Zenobia and Zora Slay, all of Neptune, NJ; and a host of nieces and nephews throughout the country.

As a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.

There will be a graveside service 1 PM Friday, November 30 at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. The James H. Hunt Funeral Home, Asbury Park, is in charge of arrangements.
