ADA SEVIER DIES; SERVICES THIS AFTERNOON TALLULAH, La. - Mrs. Ada Graves Sevier, prominent resident of Madison Parish, died yesterday afternoon after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Warrick, in Tendal, La. She was 77 years of age. Born in Madison Parish, Mrs. Sevier has lived here her entire life. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was active in the women's work of the church. Mrs. Sevier is survived by three sons, W. P. Sevier, Jr., mayor of Tallulah and executive vice-president and cashier of the Tallulah State Bank, Jim Sevier and Barton Sevier, both of Tallulah: four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Ziegler of Tallulah, Mrs. T. E. McNeel of Manila, Philippine Islands, Mrs. Dan Donald of Jennings, La. and Mrs. Earl Warrick of Tendal, two sisters, Mrs. George Davis of Jonesville, La., and Mrs. George Jordan of Tallulah and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. W. F. Mayo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben Jordan ,George Jordan, Francis Jordan, John Sevier, Albert Sevier, H. C. Sevier Sr., A L. Sevier Jr. and Jim Folk. Crothers Funeral Home is in of arrangements.
