SEVIER HELD HERE TUESDAY Madison Parish Physician, Coroner To Be Buried At Tallulah TALLULAH, La. Oct. 30-Dr. Howard C. Sevier, 55, well known physician of Tallulah and coroner of Madison parish since 1926, died at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minn. Saturday night after a long illness. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Sevier, pioneer citizens of Madison parish. Funeral services will be held at Fisher's Funeral Chapel in Vicksburg Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock with the Rev. Dean L. Maurer of Trinity Episcopal church of Tallulah officiating. Burial will be In Silver Cross cemetery, Tallulah, at 10:30 a. m. Dr. Sevier is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clyde Scott Sevier; three brothers, George W. Sevier of Baton Rouge, Andrew L. Sevier and Albert V. Sevier of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Tom Cassity of Tucson, Ariz., and several nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be: Honorary-Mason Spencer, Lewis Collens, Colvin Todd, Dr. A. P. Palmer, Dr. E. O. Edgerton, Walter M Scott, Gus Auranches, all of Tallulah, and Dr. Gus Street and Dr George Street, both of Vicksburg. Active-Edward Buckner, R. C Gaines, Jim Parker, Lucien Farr, Dr. Ray Medlin, all of Tallulah, and Basil Brown of Vicksburg.
