We are the NATCHITOCHES GENEALOGICAL & HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION, located on the second floor of the Old Natchitoches Parish Courthouse, space assigned us by the Natchitoches Parish Police Jury. We are a completely volunteer organization. In addition to maintaining and staffing a genealogy library, your NGHA volunteers are involved in preserving, translating, collecting, and storing original records in conjunction with the Natchitoches Parish Clerk of Court's Office. The library is open 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Tuesday - Friday) except for major holidays..
Below you will find charges for making a search of the records for items such as: marriage licenses, divorces, cemetery data and/or records, successions, deeds, conveyances, and etc. Please return this form along with your specific request and the fees stated for a preliminary search. One of our volunteer members will spend up to a maximum of two (2) hours researching our records for your requested data.
All profits from our research go toward improving the NGHA library.
If there are additional charges for copies and postage, you will be billed
when items are mailed to you. If you request further research please refer to the research number
at the top of this page.
