Hello, I am looking for parents of Urene (sometimes U or Ulysses) Desouge, born sometime about 1814 in Orleans, Louisiana. His first wife was Mary Ann Eagan, children were Marselete, Melissa Ann (married Morgan), John William, with son George (spouse and marriage unknown), Elizabeth V.(sometimes J. or Lulu)(married Carlisle and Whisnant), Francois B. (aka Frank Brian), and Sylvester. They were mentioned in 1880 US Census in Livingston, Louisiana. John W. mentioned with a son George U. as widower.
Urene also married Clarinda (Glorinda) Hammond, daughter of Peter Hammon, the founder of Hammond town. I am researching information about his parents and date of marriage and will greatly appreciate your help.

I am looking for information about Rhoda C.Aills- This is all I know about her. I would love to know about what happened to her and her descendants.
Thank you, Liz
They are found on the 1860 Amite CO., MS census with 3 children 5, 2, ?mos; and Rhoda Ailes, 7 yrs old, b. in MS. She must have starting using the Tate name because she is listed with the family in 1870 Tangipahoa Parish, LA census, Osyka PO. as Rhoda E. Tate, 16 yrs old, born in MS. Obediah died 27 June 1875 according to family data pulled up from internet (LA). On 1880 Tangipahoa Parish, La Census with some of the younger Tate children are listed within the household of J(Joseph) W. ADDISON and wife "Rosa" C. --- note states that they married within the year.
Rhoda Ailes "Tate" would have probably married by this time. She would have been about 26-27 yrs of age. Perhaps she married in Tangipahoa Parish, La.

I am trying to find information on my great grand mother. She was Elizabeth Jane Brown, born 18 September 1843 in Mississippi, died 26 March 1914 in Tangipahoa Parish. Her mother's name was Martha, who was born in Alabama of parents both born in North Carolina. Elizabeth Jane Brown married Robert Lanier Dunnington who was born 10 Feb 1838 died 09 Jan 1918. I do not know Elizabeth's father's name, but do know that Martha Brown lived with Elizabeth Jane and Robert Dunnington in Tangipahoa Parish after she was widowed. Both Elizabeth Jane Brown and Robert Lanier Dunnington are buried in Lanier Cemetery. They were the parents of seven daughters and one son born in Tangipahoa parish.
Any information about Elizabeth's parents and any siblings would be appreciated.
