married Elizabeth Ryan on June 29,1796 in Natchez, MS.  Penelope Jones may be
the married name of Elizabeth Ryan. Penelope brought her daughter Naomi to her
marriage to John Lanier. Further research is necessary if this marriage is to
be understood.
Parents of Elizabeth Ryan are William and Elizabeth Ryan of Kentucky.
