No. 1203 Pgs. 371, 372 4/792  On October 22, 1831 Manuel ALBARADO and Magdalene LAUSON, conjointly acknowledging haven delivered and given possession to Philippe DARCE, a piece of land of 1 arpent front, by 10 arpents in depth, situated on Bayou Terrebonne, bounded above by land of Leonard CROCHET and below by land of Florentin BOUDREAUX, without any compensation, what so ever, or any expense.  Witnessed by Langet MAGGIOT and Joseph C. DULLEE.

No. 1204 Pg. 372 M 1/208  On June 23, 1832 Pierre CHIASSON declared that he gave withdrawal of a mortgage on a piece of land sold to Jerome DUPRE, by act dated January 29, 1831 No. 1025.  Witnessed by Jerome AUTHEMENT and Huberville ARSENAUX.

No. 1206 Pgs. 374-376 4/791  On June 23, 1832 Jerome DUPRE, for $440.00 cash, paid by Jerome AUTHEMENT, and $220.00 paid by Lady Marie FAUB, wife of said Jerome AUTHEMENT, he gives good and valid acquittance, he sells, cedes, abandons, conveys and delivers a certain piece of land, situated in this parish, about 7 miles below Bellenger Canal, containing two and 0ne-half arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of survey, bounded above by land of Hypolite PITRE and below by land of Gabriel LEBOEUF.  Witnessed by Pierre CHIASSON and Huberville ARSENAUX.

No. 1209 Pgs. 378, 379 4/795 ½  On June 28, 1832 Joseph J. DARCE and Francois BUQUET declared that for various good reasons, they rescind and annul, the act passed July 10, 1826, recorded Book D, No. 381 Pg. 2.  Witnessed by Hubert BELLENGER and C. B. WATKINS.

No. 1214 Pg. 385 M 1/209  On July 19, 1832 Edmond FANGUY declared full and entire withdrawal of mortgage authorized in his favor by William C. FUQUA, by act dated February 23, 1828 No. 538.  Witnessed by Pierre CAZEAUX and William C. WATKINS.

No. 1217 Pgs. 391, 392 4/718  On July 23, 1832 Sebastien TIVET and Marie Magdeleine LEBOEUF, his wife, declared that they sold, ceded, delivered and abandoned a certain piece of land 5 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth designated by titles, situated about 30 miles from Thibodauxville, LA, bounded above by land of Jean Charles NAQUIN an below by land of Sebastien TIVET, to Pierre CAZEAUX, payable $200.00 cash, and $200.00 payable July 1832, $200.00 payable July 1833 and $200.00 payable July 1834.  Witnessed by Jean Marie NAQUIN and Furcy PORCHE.

No. 1218 Pgs. 392, 393 M 1/214  On July 23, 1832 On July 23, 1832 Norbert BONVILLAIN, with Elise PREVOST, his wife, as Testamentary Executrix of Michel Louis GACOIN, deceased, with power and constituted himself as legal procurator, who lays claim of 50 Francs, belonging to the constituents for only half and in their quality as legatee of the late Michel Louis GACOIN, who laid claim as his quality of heir, for the said quality of Lady Perrine Jeanne MARIE, widow Guillaume Michel Louis GACOIN, deceased, recorded in the great Book of the public debt, under number 1007,1557, series 7, to receive the price thereof.  Witnessed by Joseph DELAPORTE and Philippe H. DARCE.

No. 1240 Pgs. 417-421 3/614  On June 23 1830 at New Orleans, LA, Denis DELARONDE, fils, of St. Bernard Parish and Joseph Marcel DUCROS, also of the parish of St. Bernard, declared that at the time of the death of Pierre Denis DELARONDE, pere, husband of Eulalie BERBOIS, concerning a piece of land, in Terrebonne Parish, about one-half league from Bayou Lafourche, land acquired from Thomas DeVillannaua BARRASO, by act dated December 22, 1813, in the records of Michel de ARMAS, deceased, then notary of New Orleans, by the concession, as it appears, from the receipt of J. B. MC LANAHAN, receiver of the public funds, delivered under number 264, dated May 3, 1822, and on February 26, 1827 and the following days, the said lady Eulalie BERBOIS, widow DELARONDE, as testamentary executor, in the interest of three minor daughters, Felicie, Eliza and Azelie DELARONDE, and her minor grand-daughter Eliza WHITE, with consent of all heirs, sold at Public Auction, all properties of the deceased, on July 14, 1827.  The land was purchased by Pierre Denis DELARONDE, fils, and Pierre Adolph DUCROS, which they now own conjointly and undividedly owners of the land, each one half.  Now they want to end their joint ownership, by dividing property in half, land in Terrebonne Parish 1224 acres superficies, more or less, with 20 arpents front on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, bounded North by land of Francois MALBROUGH, and vacant lands, and on the south side, land conceded to Joseph MOLERE, which belonged to Nathan MERIAM, and now belongs to Lemuel TANNER.  The land was divided in half, with 10 arpents front on both side.  By drawing lots, in ordinary manner and custom, the result, first choice was due Joseph Marcel DUCROS, who chose the upper part of land, and Pierre Denis DELARONDE, fils, accepts the lower part of land.  Witnessed by Amedee DUCATEL and Charles Victor FOULON.

No. 1241 Pages 422-426 4/793  On June 26, 1832 at New Orleans, LA Joseph Marcel DUCROS, of St. Bernard Parish, by these presents, sold, ceded, transferred and delivered to the “Society of Commerce”, represented by Ernest MURPHY, a piece of land in Terrebonne Parish, about one half league from Bayou Lafourche and nine and one half leagues from the Mississippi River, having 653 acres in superficies, more or less, bounded above by land of Francois MALBROUGH, and below by land of Pierre Denis DELARONDE, fils, and also two head of slaves, George and David, about 24 years of age, by virtue of the acquisition he made from Thorton ALEXANDER, by act dated June 12, 1830, in the report of Louis J. CEURE, Notary Public.  All sold for $12,000.00, $10,400 for the land and $800.00 for each slave.  Elina Olivia DEVESIN, wife of Joseph Marcel DUCROS, authorized for the purpose for the full validity of these presents, agreed to the sale.  Witnessed by Edouard LAVIGNE and Gustave LEGARDEUR.  Recorded August 9, 1832.

No. 1241 Pages 426-429 4/806  On August 4, 1832 Brigite BELANGER, widow Henry S. THIBODAUX, Mrs. Paul BOURGEOIS, Henry Michel THIBODAUX, Brigite Emile THIBODAUX wife of Leufroy BARRAS, assisted and authorized by her husband, Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX and  Bannon Goforth THIBODAUX, all legal heirs of the late Henry S. THIBODAUX, each one-eighth and one-half for Mrs. THIBODAUX, of all common properties, deciding to give one another reciprocally a valid and unquestionable title to lands donated to them, by their father November 18, 1820, of three arpents each.  This act done and passed in the house of Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX before Jean Baptiste LAPERUSE, Justice of the peace.  Witnessed by C. BOURGEOIS and Augustin MONGEONT.

No. 1244 Pages 433, 434 4/805  On August 26, 1820 Mrs. Marguerite SCHWEITZER, wife of Jacques VERRET, as an heir of Francois CHOISTRE or SCHWEITZER, her father, deceased, has sold by an act passed before Pierre DASPIT, Judge Lafourche Interior Parish, a certain piece of land, to Joseph STOUFLET and Francois SCHWEITZER, on the left bank of Bayou Lafourche, about 20 miles below Thibodauxville, containing 5 acres or arpents front on Bayou Lafourche, with 40 arpents of depth, bounded above by land of Leandre VERRET and below by land of Joseph BARRE, land given heirs of Francois SCHWEITZER by Valentin LAULET, by act passed before William GOFORTH, then Judge of Lafourche Interior Parish, dated July 6, 1811, recorded February 18, 1832.  This act passed on August 14, 1832 in the house of Jacques VERRET.  Witnessed by M. G. ALMINGER and Joseph DELAPORTE.

No. 1247 Page 142 4/811  On July 21, 1828 Pierre BILLIOT and his wife sold a piece of land, bounded above by land belonging to Michel BILLIOT and below by land of Joseph MONSAN, with 4 arpents front, on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, with depth of concession or survey, act done and passed August 10, 1832.  Witnessed by Joseph DELAPORTE and Louis TOUPS.

No. 1248 Pages 443-445 4/810  On August 16, 1832 Pierre BERGERON, for and inconsideration of the sum of $1500.00, well and duly paid to him before the passing of these presents, he sells, cedes, abandons and delivers, with warranty, only and simply, against himself, his heirs and assigns, to Leandre B. THIBODAUX, a certain piece of land, 8 arpents front, more or less, from boundary to boundary, beginning at the lower line of the land of Francois BUQUET, with depth of certificate of confirmation, on each side, land situated about 10 miles from Thibodauxville, being portion of a piece of land confirmed in the name of said appearer No. 582, also appeared Louise BOUDELOCHE, wife of Pierre BERGERON, who approves said sale.  Witnessed by Jean Baptiste LAPEROUSE and Jean Baptiste BEAUSERGENT.

No. 1249 Page 445 M 1/218  On August 16, 1832 Louis TOUPS gave withdrawal of the mortgage, in his favor, on a sale passed March 13, 1829, recorded Book E, No. 797 Page 57, for a piece of land of 2 arpents front, acknowledging having received the full sum of $530.00.  Witnessed by Joseph DELAPORTE and Pierre BILLIOT.

No. 1250 Pages 446, 447 112A/10902  On August 4, 1832 Leandre B. THIBODAUX, Aubin B. THIBODAUX, Eugenie THIBODAUX, widow Joseph Paul BOURGEOIS, Henry Michel THIBODAUX, Emelie THIBODAUX, wife of Leufroy BARRAS, Elmire THIBODAUX, wife of Evariste PORCHE, Henry Claiborne THIBODAUX and Bannon Goforth THIBODAUX, all legal heirs of Henry S. THIBODAUX, having claim in his succession for one eighth of his properties, by these presents giving withdrawal to Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, widow, of the tacit mortgage belonging to the succession of Henry S. THIBODAUX, renouncing from the present and forever, in the favor of Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, with exception of the habitation, where she lives, as well as all the slaves in her possession, on said habitation.  Act passed in the house of Mrs. Henry S. THIBODAUX, widow.  Witnessed by C. D. BURGUIERES and Augustin MONGEONT.

No. 1255 Pages 460, 461 M 1/219  On August 23, 1832 Mrs. Arsise PERRET, widow Maxmilien TROXLER, declared she had received from Ingo DOZER, the sum of $450.00, which was consideration of a sale dated January 3, 1829, for one arpent of land, and further the sum of $200.00 from George WHAN, in consideration of a sale, by her, by act dated November 29, 1827, for one half arpent of land front, these two pieces of land having been bought again by various persons, and now forming a part of the habitation of R. G. WALKER, situated about 11 leagues form Mississippi River and 2 miles from Thibodauxville, in consideration of the payments above, she gives, by these presents definitive withdrawal of the conventional mortgage authorized in her favor.  Witnessed by Louis GANIN and Auguste H. VERRET.

No. 1264 Pages 5,6 M 1/223  On August 29, 1832 Victoire BOUDREAUX wife of Pierre Gracien LEBLANC, duly assisted and authorized by her husband, present and approving, after being read the act of sale passed December 22, 1831, recorded whereby Pierre Gracien LEBLANC sold to Mr. BISLAND  and Mr. SHIELDS, a piece of land situated about five miles below Belanger Canal, on each side of Bayou Terrebonne, containing six arpents front, for the price of $2,000.00, declared she approved and ratified it in all of its entirety.  Witnessed by Miles TAYLOR and Jean Baptiste LAPEROUSE.
