Granddaughter Clubs
of Louisiana
Louisiana has 3 clubs within the organization of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. A woman must prove her blood line to her grandfather, great grandfather, or great great grandfather who fought for the Confederacy. Membership in any of these clubs does not conflict with the work of the UDC chapters.....it expands chapter work. Meetings are generally held yearly during the UDC Convention and reports are given on membership and monies collected from dues and donations. Most often, the treasuries are emptied for new or ongoing UDC projects, donations to support our Children of the Confederacy, and other needs.
Each club has its own beautiful membership pin that is approved to wear on a member's UDC insignia ribbon.
Please click on the 100th year pin of the United Daughters of the Confederacy to visit each of the clubs.
