FIRST REGIMENT INFANTRY

The Caddo Rifles was the second Confederate unit to leave Caddo Parish under the command of Captain William R. SHRIVERS with about 140 men. Another captain was Charles DAILEE, who died in August of 1862. First Lieutenant Alex Boarman [paroled], Second Lieutenants Tom COLLINS [killed] and J. K. ASHMORE. Third Lieutenant Robert GOLL [disabled].
