The following is a listing of all the Peddicord (mostly Peddicoart or Petticoart) listings in the index to Baltimore Co., land records. We still need to look at the actual records to see if there is any data of genealogical value in any of the deeds. However, note that Dorsey Peddicoart purchased Boring's Range from James Boring in 1762 and owned this land unitl 1768 when he seems to have sold all of his land (over 500 acres) and is not mentioned again. But this fact strengthens the theory that John Peddicord who married Rebecca Boring is likely to be the son of Dorsey.

Some of the conveyances are clearly related to events, Nicholas Peddicord as executor of his father's estate (William Sr.) had his brothers convey their interest in the tracts of land Peddicoarts Banter Resurveyed and Norwoods Delight as part of the settlement of Williams Estate. All 513 acres were sold to Samuel W Waters. These tracts of land were located in the Granite area of Western Baltimore County between Old Court and Marriottsville Roads. George Horvath's plots of land grants shows: Peddicoat's Wish, Peddicoat's Beginnings (surveyed for Dorsey Peddicoat) Norwood's Delight, Fells Forest, Friendly Purchase, and Level Union within 1/2 mile of each other in the area bounded by Liberty Road and Old Court Road. An adjacent tract "Scotchman's Desire" was owned by Maurice Baker. THese tracts of land lie about 2 miles west of John Peddicoart's orginal land grants of Petticourt's Benefit and Petticourt's Addition.
It also should be noted that some of the conveyences are "in the family" Michael Elder was the brother-in-law of Adam, William, and Jasper Peddicord. Thomas Greenwood was the stepfather of Jasper Peddicord.
