Salpiti Korale. In
1892 was promoted to Mudaliyar of Salpiti Korale. 1893-1905,
he was Deputy
Fiscal of the same district. 1897 Acting Atapattu Mudaliyar.
In 1897 he received a
Gold Medal from the Ceylon Government for
meritorious services. In
1902 he was conferred the high lank of Mudaliyar
of the Governor’s Gate. He was a wealthy
landed proprietor, owning coconut estates in the Colombo and
Kalutara
districts. He was given medals and other awards for exhibiting
fruits and other
products. 1882
married Clementina
Matilda (only daughter of John
Henry Corea Abeyekoon, Justice of the Peace and
Mohandiram of Kalutara).
