He was the Magistrate of the County Court for Somerset. Their son
William Stevens Howard (1684-1734) married Sarah Briscoe c. 1721. And their daughter
Elizabeth (c 1718- ) married Alexander Magruder (1716-1799). Then their son, Alexander
Howard Magruder (1745- ), married Jane Trueman about 1762. And when their daughter, Nancy
Ann Magruder (c 1763- ), married Thomas Marshall Dent {see Branch C) c 1781, we are back into
the Main Line again. And so before they were man and wife, the young couple were
third cousins, once removed.

He was also not a very nice man. He m. Anna Charlotta DANIELSON b. Smijibocken, Sweden 9 Dec 1874 or 1878, dc 1948, Springfield, Greene Co., MO. She immigrated ca. 1884-1888.

Nancy Allen Dent and Sashwell Jordan had 9 children. 2nd child daughter Elizabeth "Betsy" Jordan m. Nelson Claycomb. Their Daughter, Elizabeth "Bettie" Claycomb m1st Josiah Dent(? unfinished research) who returned from Civil War with Typhoid fever and did not recover. She m2nd to Thomas Luther McCoy son of John Payne McCoy and Susanna Kennedy. Thomas Luther & "Bettie" McCoy's 4th child, Daughter Minnie Lee McCoy was my great-grandmother. She Married Erasmus Freeborn "Razzie Dock" Miller in Meade Co. They had 9 children. Their 8th, son Ercy McCoy Miller m1st Marie Decker had 4 children, md 2nd Christine McGehee had 1 additional child. #rd Child son Ercy McCoy Miller Jr. M. Harriette Blair. 3 Children - I am the oldest.

Many of the Dent family ended up in Breckinridge and Meade Coounties in Kentucky and there is a lot of intermarriage with the Board and Jordan families. They seemed to have hooked up in Bedford Co. VA.
