CARTER BURYING GROUND, TOWN OF SAVOY
This is sometimes called the Burnett or Center Cemetery. It is on the L Shaw place, later the Burnett farm. It is north of Burnett Pond, in the Northwest center of the town, off the New State road 7/10 of a mile from Savoy Center, and up in the lot, enclosed by a wall of flat stones, with a gate. The cemetery is 78 by 49 feet. The stones face northwest.
