state assembly, 1834-35; U.S. Representative from New York 26th District, 1837-39; member of New York state senate
7th District, 1840-41; resigned 1841; county judge in New York, 1847-51. Died in Canandaigua, Ontario County, N.Y.,
September 8, 1852. Interment at West Avenue Cemetery, Canandaigua, N.Y.
