CHARLES SUMNER ASHLEY

Ashley, Charles Sumner, merchant and public official of New Bedford, Mass., was born Sept. 5, 1858, in New Bedford, Mass. He is a successful merchant of New Bedford, Mass. He was mayor of that city in 1891, 1892, 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, 1907, 1910, 1911, 1912, and now in 1914, and its postmaster in 1893-96.
