Morton, James Madison, Jr. (1869-1940) — of Massachusetts. Born in Fall River, Bristol County, Mass., August 24, 1869. Judge of U.S. District Court for Massachusetts, 1912; Judge of U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit, 1932-39. Member, American Bar Association. Died August 26, 1940.
