ESTHER HOVEY

Esther, baptized Feb. 23, 1728; married Capt. Thomas, son of Thomas and Sarah (Goodhue) Treadwell of Ipswich Feb. 19, 1752.  He was born in Ipswich Aug. 6, 1732; and died in 1766.  She survived him, and died in Ipswich Oct. 5, 1809.  He was a master mariner.  Their children were born in Ipswich, and were as follows: 1. Nathaniel, born Dec. 20, 1752; sea captain; lived in Ipswich; married, first, Elizabeth Stone of Ipswich may 4, 1775; she died in Ipswich, Dec. 25, 1808; he married second, Elizabeth Fuller March 19, 1810; and then she died in Ipswich, Sept. 26, 1828.  He had nine children.  2. Hannah, baptized May 12, 1754.  3. Esther, baptized Nov. 14, 1756.
