Richardson, Elliott Verne (1868-1929) — also known as Elliott V. Richardson — of Manhattan, New York County, N.Y. Born in Newburyport, Essex County, Mass., March 4, 1868. Newspaper reporter; U.S. Vice Consul in Sydney, 1910-16; U.S. Consul in Moncton, 1916-17; Punta Arenas, 1918; Quebec City, 1918-19; Karachi, 1919-21, 1925-28; Coblenz, 1921-22; Berlin, 1922-23; Pernambuco, 1923-24. Died in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Mass., June 27, 1929.
