Warner, Hiram (1802-1881) — of Greenville, Meriwether County, Ga. Born in Williamsburg, Hampshire County, Mass., October 29, 1802. Democrat. Member of Georgia state house of representatives, 1827-31; justice of Georgia state supreme court, 1846-53; chief justice of Georgia Supreme Court, 1867-80; U.S. Representative from Georgia 4th District, 1855-57; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Georgia, 1860. Died in Atlanta, Fulton County, Ga., June 30, 1881. Interment at Town Cemetery, Greenville, Ga.
