Alger, William Ellerton (1856-1917) — also known as William E. Alger — Born in Boston, Suffolk County, Mass., September 1, 1856. Son of William R. Alger and Annie L. (Lodge) Alger; married 1896 to Mucia Paz. U.S. Consular Agent in Puerto Cortes, 1891-1902; U.S. Consul in Puerto Cortes, 1902-04; Tegucigalpa, 1904-09; Mazatlan, 1914-16; Fernie, 1917. Died March 9, 1917.
