PERCIVAL GASSETT

Gassett, Percival (1858-1929) — Born in Dorchester (now part of Boston), Suffolk County, Mass., October 26, 1858. Served in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War; U.S. Consul in Jerez de la Frontera, (Spain) 1908-12; Iquique (Chile), 1912-14; Malaga (Spain), 1914-17; Leeds (England), 1917-24. Died in Washington, D.C., April 13, 1929.
