North Attleboro Historical Society - Bristol County MA USA

The Woodcock Garrison Historic Compound is a unique representation of life as it was in Bristol County Massachusettes during the 17th and 18th centuries. It includes the Garrison House, Schoolhouse and Woodcoock Burial Ground.

Early residents - Woodcocks, Blackintons, Maxcys, Daggetts, Clarkes, and Smiths are in the burial ground at the easy access intersection of present day route 1 and 1A. It is maintained by the town of North Attleboro as part of the towns heritage.
