HOSMER

James Hosmer , the immigrant ancestor of the family in Massachusetts ws born in 1607 in England (Shattuck)
He came from Hockhurst,Kent to America on the ship "Elizabeth", sailing April 9, 1630, 28 years old with his wife,
Ann, 27 years old and their chilren Marie, 2 years and Ann, 3 months; their servants Marie Donnard, 24 years and Marie Martin, 19 years. He settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was admitted as a freeman. He was a clothier by trade. He removed to Concord where
He had three wives: the first, Ann, died February 7, 16 ; the second Mary was buried May 11, 16 and the third Elinne (Ellen) died March 3, 16
